Frequently asked questions

The questions that should be answered before work begins.

A strong production relationship depends on realistic expectations, explicit responsibility and a shared understanding of how capability develops.

01Is HySource a labour-hire or recruitment company?

No. HySource does not simply locate an individual and place that person under the client’s management. The model includes team selection, structured onboarding, leadership, quality processes, training, knowledge capture and continuity.

02Are team members dedicated to our business?

Each engagement defines available capacity and team composition. The intended model prioritises continuity so the same people can develop familiarity with client standards and project types. Full exclusivity is only provided where commercially agreed.

03Why can’t a technically capable person immediately complete high-level work?

Technical ability is only one part of performance. The team must also understand your standards, project history, risk settings, typical details, communication conventions and decision-making approach.

04How long does onboarding take?

It varies with project complexity, work frequency, quality of available standards, feedback consistency and the amount of client-specific knowledge involved. We do not promise immediate independence without evidence.

05What work should we start with?

Begin with representative, bounded work supported by examples and a realistic review period. An urgent, unresolved or unusually complex package is rarely a useful first test.

06What happens if a team member leaves?

Templates, examples, checklists, review records, training material and client-specific workflow knowledge remain in the system. A replacement still needs onboarding, but should not restart from zero.

07How do Australian industry experts contribute?

Relevant practitioners may contribute to training, standards development, workflow design and review frameworks. Their exact role depends on the engagement; professional decisions remain with appropriately appointed professionals.

08Does HySource provide architectural or engineering sign-off?

Production support does not automatically include certification, statutory approval or design responsibility. Any such service must be separately defined and provided by appropriately registered or qualified professionals.

09What does the client need to provide?

Project direction, representative standards, access to necessary information, a nominated reviewer, timely decisions and consolidated feedback.

10Can the team expand?

Yes, where workload, system maturity and leadership support it. Additional people enter the established knowledge and review framework rather than being added without structure.

11How is pricing calculated?

Pricing reflects the complete delivery structure: team composition, experience, team leadership, onboarding, software, equipment, review requirements and specialist support—not only one person’s wage or hourly rate.

A practical first step

Build capacity before resourcing becomes an emergency.

A fit assessment is a practical discussion about your workload, systems and future capacity—not a commitment to hire a team.
